香港中文大學兒童雙語研究中心正進行一項研究,以探討語言輸入與語言發展的關係,注重考察香港兒童如何透過和母親以及菲律賓籍家庭傭工互動來學習英文。現希望招募 21 - 27 個月的嬰兒參與研究。

 

招募對象:

  • 21 - 27 個月小孩 (性別不限)

  • 在香港成長

  • 家中第一位小孩

  • 媽媽的母語為廣東話

  • 媽媽和 / 或 菲律賓外傭經常和小孩説英文

  • 無已知的語言或認知發展障礙

  • 聽力及智力正常

  • 發育正常

 

參與家庭需要完成語言輸入問卷,語言互動錄影及英語水平測試。完成所有測試後可獲得HKD 200 - HKD 600現金補貼,免費的英語水平測試及報告,免費網上英語故事課堂,免費精選兒童圖書,以及參與證書。

The Childhood Bilingualism Research Centre is conducting a research on the relations between language input and language development in young children who are learning English from mothers and Filipino domestic helpers in Hong Kong. We are now recruiting children aged 21 - 27 months to join our study. The inclusion criteria and details are as follows:

 

Inclusion Criteria:

  • 21 - 27 months old children (any gender)

  • Born and raised in Hong Kong

  • First born

  • Mother’s mother language is Cantonese

  • Mother and/or Filipino domestic helper regularly speak English to the child

  • No known language or developmental disorders

  • Normal hearing abilities and IQ

  • Normal growth and development

 

Participating families need to complete language input questionnaire, interaction recordings and English proficiency test. Completed families will receive HKD 200 – 600 participant fee, free English proficiency test and report, free online English story lessons and English children book, and participation certificate.
